How to get there

Antananarivo – Ambondromamy (410Km) on the RN4, turn right onto the RN6 to Antanamitarana (777Km). Antanamitarana – Montagne d’Ambre National Park 30km. The Montagne d’Ambre National Park is located 37km from Antsiranana. Antsiranana – Joffreville: 34 km and Joffreville – Parc: 3 km, secondary road

Geography

2,978 mm average annual rainfall. An aquatic ecosystem made up of five (05) Crater Lakes from which very dense networks of watercourses in the far North area start.

23,010 Ha including 18,200 Ha for the Montagne d’Ambre National Park and 4,810 Ha for the Forêt d’Ambre Special Reserve.
