51 reptile species with an endemicity rate of 95%. 84 amphibian species with an endemicity rate of 98%. 117 bird species with an endemicity rate of 63%. 72 mammal species, including 14 lemur species. Batflies and insectivores make up half of the list of these species. The endemicity rate is 78%.

The Flora of Mantadia Park

120 species of orchids with a 100% endemicity rate. Most are epiphytes; over 1,200 plant species with a 77% endemicity rate.

How to get there

By road: Via the RN2, Antananarivo – Moramanga: 110 km, then Moramanga – Andasibe: 26 km.

Hydrography

A very large reservoir with the Iofa, Sahanody, and Vohitra rivers. Altitude 800 to 1200 m Climate Humid tropical Relief Broken, thanks to the many rivers that flow through it, creating a landscape of unique beauty.
